REPORT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

One day the owner of the Laboratory I worked for asked me to help him solve a problem they had with all the quality control reports (Riqas, Cemic, Sysmex, etc.)

The situation was as follows: monthly they received from the suppliers for quality control PDF reports that contained the information that later had to be dumped into the templates to compare the results of the tests of each of the analytes carried out in the laboratory. with the rest of the laboratories of the program.

The programs were:

• biorad

• cemic

• sysmex

• Riqas

Specifically, the PDFs had to be read, search for the necessary information, and then upload data by data into the quality control spreadsheets (Excel).

What happened, the Biochemists spent many hours transcribing the data one by one to later be able to dump them, what was the solution:

It allows us to manage, order and present the information that comes in the reports (PDF) so that its analysis is faster and the chances of error are minimized.

The system has 3 main files

1) File for the ordering of information.
2) File for statistical monitoring.
3) File with the graphs.
